I'm finally on the last leg of my library listening project. Only the ABC artists to listen to and then I can get back to listening to whatever songs I want. Thank goodness! In an effort not to go back to letters that I've already listened to, I only downloaded B and C artists from eMusic this month.
That last couple of weeks have been dedicated to listening to the "M" artists in my library. There's still about 9 hours left of that group. Here are a couple of songs with cool covers. I struggled so getting the cover tunes uploaded to VOX. VOX kept telling me that it couldn't accept the files. Homebody clued me in about Japanese characters being a problem, but I have no idea why Vox does not like Delays. The song uploaded, but the album art is missing.
When I was changing buses tonight, I noticed that a lot of people were standing around taking photos of the sky. You don't normally see much in the Bangkok night sky, but tonight there were two stars and a crescent moon in an interesting alignment.
I have a difficult time understanding the music industry. I like listening to music. I want to legally buy music and have money go to the artists. Why does that have to be difficult? Why does it depend on where I live?

There's a few new artists this week that I got from eMusic. The Bart Davenport song "Born to Suffer" has been fun to listen to.
Not much happening personally - just A LOT of work and an injured cat. Bangkok has been having a political meltdown. There's not much to do but stay out of the way and wait to see how it gets resolved.

Played around a lot with iTunes Genius last week. It's OK for making a list when you don't have much time to do it yourself. It tends to picks the same particular songs to put in almost every list, though. That part could be better.
Have really enjoyed the She & Him and The Rumble Strips CDs that I bought last week!

It was a slow music week (for me). However, I did receive a very nice Matt Pond PA compilation disk in the mail and spent some time listening to some new tunes :-) A last.fm friend sent me the Sirsy disk (autographed, no less!) in April. Their music was reflective of my mood last week (due to long working hours) - nice pop songs just couldn't snap me out of it.
