There's a few new artists this week that I got from eMusic. The Bart Davenport song "Born to Suffer" has been fun to listen to.
Not much happening personally - just A LOT of work and an injured cat. Bangkok has been having a political meltdown. There's not much to do but stay out of the way and wait to see how it gets resolved.

Played around a lot with iTunes Genius last week. It's OK for making a list when you don't have much time to do it yourself. It tends to picks the same particular songs to put in almost every list, though. That part could be better.
Have really enjoyed the She & Him and The Rumble Strips CDs that I bought last week!

It was a slow music week (for me). However, I did receive a very nice Matt Pond PA compilation disk in the mail and spent some time listening to some new tunes :-) A last.fm friend sent me the Sirsy disk (autographed, no less!) in April. Their music was reflective of my mood last week (due to long working hours) - nice pop songs just couldn't snap me out of it.

Yea! The iPod is scrobbling again. I had 870 songs piled up from the last 3 weeks or so. I wonder if last.fm goes back and recalculates the weekly charts. Hmmm, probably not.
Lykke Li is new to the library. I read about her on the W♥M’s Blog and had to get her album. Unfortunately, it was only available for download on iTunes (with the dreaded DRM). Oh well, it's quite good!
Blondie's in the #1 spot this week. I've bought Parallel Lines on vinyl, 8-track tape (eek!), cassette tape and CD. I think they got their fair share of money from me :)

The iPod is still not scrobbling. It's starting to annoy me more than it really should (in the grand scheme of things and all that).
Spent some time listening to The Essex Green this week. I'm liking "Don't Know Why (You Stay)" and "Snake in the Grass"
Tommy James & The Shondells is new to the library. I have the R.E.M. cover of "Draggin' the Line" and wanted to listen to the original...ended up just buying the entire album "The Essentials: Tommy James & The Shondells".

A couple of new artist this week. The Rosebuds, Headlights and The Essex Green are eMusic downloads...mostly nice little pop songs. Chris Sandoval is my F-i-L. He called to sing me "Happy Birthday" which made me miss home. I listened to his CD and made myself more homesick :)

I didn't post my top artists last week. I had been sick and hadn't listen to much...and the little bit that was listened to didn't sound right. The flu must really mess with your brain. All is back to normal...except that my iPod suddenly stopped scrobbling. There are several hours of music that didn't get scrobbled, but there are worse things that can happen :) Close Lobsters, My Morning Jacket and The Clientele are new eMusic downloads.

Here's a tune by Astropuppees that I downloaded from eMusic a couple of months ago...
