What were the biggest and smallest places you’ve lived in?

In terms of town/cities, I've lived at both ends of the spectrum:
Smallest - Mer Rouge, Louisiana (population ~ 720)
Largest - Bangkok, Thailand (population ~ 8.2 million)

Wow, that's an incredible range! and I thought the town from which I graduated from high school was small (2,000 at the time).

Do you think you'll ever return to small-town life? (Sometimes I daydream about it.)

I confess that I daydream about it,too...especially since I've lived in Bangkok. However, I don't think my husband is much for the small town life. We were quite content in Austin, so something like that would be ideal.

You beat me on both ends! Sydney would be the biggest and it is less than half Bangkok. Country NSW town had about 1,000 in it.

But I think you have me beat with electricity thing :). I lived in Austin, TX for several years (population ~500,000 when I was there), but that was nothing compared to Bangkok. It took a few years to get used to living here.
