Finally! The ABCs

I'm finally on the last leg of my library listening project. Only the ABC artists to listen to and then I can get back to listening to whatever songs I want. Thank goodness! In an effort not to go back to letters that I've already listened to, I only downloaded B and C artists from eMusic this month.

I put Cherry Twister in my "Save For Later" list long ago after looking over this recommended power pop list on the Rate Your Music website. Bikeride I remembered from Homebody posting some bike songs awhile back. Both The Boy Least Likely To and Brakesbrakesbrakes had songs on KEXP song-of-the-day podcast. I haven't listened to all of them yet, but here are a couple tunes that I kinda like.

I bought that same Bikeride CD after hearing Homebody play "Jennifer". I also picked up The Law of the Playground a couple weekends ago. You can download a free non-album track on Pitchfork. It's the Boy Least Likely To singing "You're the One That I Want" from Grease.

Thanks so much! I also remembered The Boy Least Likely To from when Homebody shared Be Gentle With Me after one of those music buying frenzies. I also remembered seeing The Law of the Playground in your recent purchases. I liked the KEXP song, so I thought it would be a good download.

You may already have this, but in case you don't, TBLLT also covered George Michael's Faith - complete with banjo and hand claps.

Yeah, I have that George Michael cover. It came on one of those free CDs affixed to the front of a British music magazine. Maybe Mojo.
